Why “Azurite” in the company name? I was looking for a unique name to classify my childhood passion and came across Azurite-Malachite. This bluish-green mineral usually found together actually possesses a unique metaphysical property. Azurite is known as the “stone of heaven” and Malachite is known as the “stone of transformation”. Combined, they “help you release the past and to move forward into a new future…” as well as to “help revitalize the brain and allows the wearer to heal past traumas.” Wow! What a name and theme for a web design company?! The more I expose my business to more and more people, the more I found out that there a great deal many people who need healing due to past “wannabe” web developers who claimed to knew what they were doing… or from business owners who think they can pick up a book at Barnes & Noble and think this is easy stuff.

I know it’s not my fault, but I want to apologize that you may have lost faith in those “other” guys. I have been awarded the highest rank, Eagle Scout, in the Boy Scouts of America, a hard-earned 2nd Degree Black Belt in American Karate, a well-deserved Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, an online-based Masters in Information Systems Management, and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt at heart. I have to warn you though ahead of time. I’m a crazy lunatic when it comes to attention to detail and perfection. If that’s what you were looking for, then you’ve come to the right place.

Trust me on this one; building web sites is not like plumbing or mowing the yard. It took me nearly 20 years to know what I know and not too many people can say they have my expertise. While other 12 year olds were playing with baseball cards, I was learning everything I could get my hands on that involved the big WWW. As a war story, the first computer I bought was the Macintosh Quadra 630; the last of it’s kind which didn’t have the CD-Rom as a standard option.

Anyway, years later… it’s become a full time adventure with each new day bringing new challenges and new obstacles. I have three words for you: “Bring. It. On.”
